C Tet stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted by C.B.S.E twice a year. It is just a qualifying exam for a P.R.T or T.G.T teacher in any central board school. This year C.B.S.E will conduct the 15th edition of C TET in C.B.T (Computer Based Test) mode.
What is C TET?
The full form of C TET is Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is conducted twice- July and December in a year.
This is just a qualifying exam to be a central-level teacher. The Exam is Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Earlier, It was on offline mode, but from 2021 onwards, the examination will be conducted online.

What are the Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit?
There are two papers in C TET Examination.
Paper I – The candidate who qualifies paper I can be eligible for primary stage teacher (classes I to Vth)
Paper-II – The candidate who has qualified paper II can be eligible for Elementary Teacher (classes VIth to VIIIth)
Paper I and Paper II qualified candidates are eligible for both primary stage teacher and Elementary Teacher.
If you apply for primary stage teacher, you must have an Intermediate degree with a minimum of 45 per cent marks in any stream. The candidate must have a completed or appearing degree of two years diploma in education (D.El.Ed).
If you apply for elementary teacher, you should have graduation with 45 per cent and 12th with 50 per cent marks along with completed or appearing B. Ed degree.
What is the Age Limit?
There is no age limit applied by the Central Board of Secondary Examination in C TET.
The validity of the certificate was 7 years earlier after the date of issue of marks. Recently, the validity has been extended up to a lifetime.

How to Correct C TET Application Form in 2021?
C TET application correction is a one-time facility. Hence, check all the important credentials very carefully.
The application is available only for those candidates who have applied along with fees.
The candidates are allowed to change all sections except images.
It is very important to get a revised C TET confirmation page after final submission.

The total no of questions is 150.
The during of the exam hour is 150 minutes.
Part IV (Q. 91 to 120) is for Language- I. Hence, attempt the questions of your selected language.
Part V (Q. 121 to 150) is for Language- II. Hence, attempt the questions of your selected language.
No negative marking is applicable.
The qualifying marks for general is 90 (60 % )and for O.B.C, S.T and S.C is 82 (55 %) only.
